It feels great to write and share with you all, about a wonderful yoga in vedic astrology – Budh Aditya Yoga. Well, this yoga is not beneficial all times and depending on the placement of the yoga and relationship shared with the lord of the house, this yoga gives positive or negative results. Budh Aditya Yoga is formed when Sun, the Great Source of energy and the giver of life in this galaxy is linked to the planet of intellectuality i.e. Mercury. When the planet Sun is close to planet Mercury, Budh Aditya Yoga is formed.

Astronomy suggests that Mercury is the smallest and innermost planet in the Solar System. Its orbital period around the Sun is of 88 days and is the shortest of all the planets in the Solar System. It is named after the Roman deity Mercury, the messenger to the gods. Also, Mercury’s orbit is not a perfect circle, so its distance from the sun varies. The minimum distance from the sun to Mercury is 28.5 million miles. The maximum distance is 43.5 million miles.

So, astrologically and astronomically, it is observed that Mercury tends to move always with the Sun. In that situation, the planet Mercury is lighted up most by the planet Sun. Hence the quality of this planet is highly increased by the rays of the Sun. However, if the degree of the planet Mercury is too close to the Sun, then Mercury loses most of its abilities to perform due to heat of the planet Sun. In this situation the yoga becomes weak. Here let us mention that this yoga is best formed when both the said planets is positioned above 3-5 degree and below 25-27 degrees. Hence, the fact remains that most horoscopes may have Budh Aditya yoga in small or medium strength, but it’s only in some individuals, it is very strong and is able to provide the individual with great fame, tremendous success, intellect and huge financial gains. Budh Aditya yoga, if formed in the Kendra houses except the seventh house, mainly the first, fourth and tenth house from ascendant/lagna is able to manifest itself in a very strong way. This yoga also works well in other astrological houses but it depends on the house and its lord.

Now let’s analyze in details as what happens if the Budh Aditya yoga is formed in the first house or ascendant. This is likely to make the soul of the native like a royal person and will bestow him/her with success in one’s business and will provide good health. This situation will reverse if the ascendant lord’s relation with Mercury and Sun are malefic.

If this yoga is formed in the second house, then the native is likely have huge sources of income, happy married life and is likely to have good relations with family and virtuous relations with younger brothers and siblings.

If this yoga is formed in the third house, then the native is likely to be a great inspirational and motivational speaker. The individual is likely to work in a large organization and be its leader and is likely to have great courage and will believe in the audacity of hope. The native can also become a great writer.

If this yoga is formed in the fourth house, then the native is likely to be in real estate, will have tremendous luxuries in life and is likely to have great comforts. The native is also likely to be blessed with costly vehicles.

If this yoga is formed in the fifth house, then the native is likely to have intelligent children and will be a creator in innovation. It will also bestow the native with spiritual powers.

If this yoga is formed in the sixth house, then the native tends to have enemies which the individual wins over by intellect and the native is likely to become a doctor, a physician etc.

If this yoga is formed in the seventh house, then the native is likely to have good fortunes in business, very good legal relationship and an intelligent spouse. However, the individual will tend to be dominant and some tensions may remain about the health of the spouse.

If this yoga is in the eighth house, then the individual is likely to have good fortunes in getting properties through inheritance, will also have interest in reading paranormal activities, ancient studies and science dealing with occult.

If this yoga is formed in the ninth house, then the individual is likely to be very spiritual and will also make expenses towards creation of spiritual places.

If this yoga is formed in the tenth house, it brings lots of name and fame to the individual from ones career or profession. It also helps the native to get lots of favors from Government.

If this yoga is formed in the eleventh house, the native have sudden gains and gets favour from elder siblings. The native also likely to get high position in Government and will get gains from stock markets.

If this yoga is formed in the twelfth house, the native is likely to get good gains in foreign lands.

Budh Adtiya yoga is wonderful yoga which helps an individual to rise in higher position through confidence and intelligence.
